Conclusion

When I first thought about creating this WebQuest, all I knew is that I wanted you to learn about the cultural history of America. However, since the country is over two hundred years old, I knew that it would be impossible to study it all. I thought about concentrating on specific artists from throughout American history. Then I thought about choosing a particular decade and having everyone study the same decade. It then occurred to me to create the WebQuest in a jigsaw format, in which different students were assigned different decades. Hopefully through the completion of this WebQuest, you will become an expert in the cultural contributions made to American during your assigned decade. In addition, I am hoping that you learn from your classmates about the contributions made during other 20th century decades. If you have already completed the assignment, I hope you found it enjoyable. If you haven't completed it yet....then get busy!
